hey thanks for adding me to your favs! i'll probably be adding you soon as well since i have been reading you off and on for awhile now. (i say off and on because i can barely get to my regular reads these days, much less remember ones that don't show up on my list!)
i really enjoyed your 'cussing' entry. i swear like a sailor as well, but i got it honestly... my dad was such the potty mouth. and i just. can't. stop. seriously, i've tried. but you know, it's just me and i've learned to accept it. and i have also had conversations like the one you described with my munchkin. in fact last week, when i was having such a wonderful week already, i dropped a bunch of library books in the water after already narrowly saving the top three. and since i was so tense, i lost it. and i started throwing the wet books into the passenger seat (nobody was there) while creative curse words came flying out of my mouth... curse words within curse words even. my personal favorite was 'god fucking dammit!!!!!'. yeah, i'm a great parent too. i'd definitely buy your book. in fact, i think i need it.

I am trying to track down children's books rooted in Gullah culture (my parents live in that part of the world) and remember reading a recommendation a few weeks ago in one of my regular reads. Was it you? If so, I'd greatly appreciate the name of the book! Congratulations on meeting your weight loss goals. I know how hard that can be!
